Finance for Biodiversity Pledge will be launched during the Nature for Life Hub

The Finance for Biodiversity Pledge will be launched

• On Friday 25 September 2020 at 15:00 – 16:30 CEST (9:00-10:30 AM EDT) during the Nature for Life Hub in the margins of the 75th UN General Assembly, two signatory CEOs will contribute to the CEO panel and introduce our four-minute launch video during the opening session of the Business and Finance Day

After the official launch, the Finance for Biodiversity Pledge will also be brought to the attention of world Heads of State at the following UN events:

• On 28 September at 15:00 – 16:30 CEST (9:00-10:30 AM EDT), during the first session of Nature for Life Hub’s ‘Global Ambition Day’, eight of the CEOs involved will read out the Pledge together in a one-minute video. The session also includes statements from 17 Heads of State, and will be livestreamed here.
• On 30 September, during the second Leader’s Dialogue at the UNGA 75 Biodiversity Summit, one of the CEOs will speak on behalf of the signatories of the Pledge in a three-minute speech. The session will be livestreamed here.
