About the Finance for Biodiversity Foundation

The Finance for Biodiversity Foundation (FfB) is a leading collaborative platform of financial institutions committed to halting and reversing nature loss by 2030. We bring together asset managers, banks, and institutional investors to work on shared commitments, develop practical tools, and engage with companies and policymakers on biodiversity-related topics.

 

Internship Overview

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Intern to support the Foundation’s activities in advancing biodiversity within the financial sector. As an intern, you will contribute to a range of projects, from research, working group coordination and communications. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, nature, and the role finance can play in protecting biodiversity.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination of our working groups, such as Target Setting, Impact Assessment, and Engagement with Companies
  • Conduct desk research on biodiversity-related frameworks, regulations
  • Support the organisation of webinars, workshops, and events, including preparing materials and reports
  • Contribute to communications, such as drafting content for our members portal, website and social media channels
  • Help prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in sustainability, environmental studies, finance, economics, international relations, or a related field
  • Strong interest in biodiversity, sustainable finance, and responsible investing
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a collaborative mindset
  • Experience with research and Microsoft Office tools (experience with creating PowerPoints)
